Become a Stringer
Get paid to record video with your smartphone or DSLR

Stringers need only register (for free), give us their smartphone number, their PayPal email address to receive payments, and permit us to check when they turn on their GPS location. We do the rest. When the Client taps on a pin, the Stringer's hourly rate appears - together with a link a link to call the Stringer, the Stringer's terms of service and levels of technology, and a link to the Stringer's portfolio of work. Only our approved Clients can access Stringer locations and other information.

StringerVision™ Clients

Stringers are like Uber drivers but for remote eyes, a part of the new sharing economy. What StringerVision shares is video information - the what, when, and where is wanted by our Clients.

We give you eyes where you want them.™

When a Client wants to generate some video content from a particular location, we provide a map with pins dropped for Stringers located nearby. Only Stringers who are ready for work (those with their GPS turned on) are mapped. When the Client taps on a pin, the Stringer's hourly rate appears - together with a link to the Stringer's portfolio of work, the Stringer's terms of service and levels of technology, and a link to call the Stringer.

PayPal facilitates the immediate transfer of funds from Clients to Stringers. They also accrue the small commission paid by Clients to StringerVision for this service.

Technology Levels

Basic Stringers work with their Smartphone cameras (held in landscape view!).
DSLR Stringers work with higher-resolution cameras.
Pro Stringers have the capability to produce content for television and film, using high quality sound and lighting equipment.

Terms of Service

There are three future profit-sharing options:

Stringer (Author) keeps future rights to the work. Client gets non-exclusive use.
Stringer and Client Both share the future rights.
Client owns the future rights.

The hourly rates for these three options will vary. For example, A: $30/hour, B: $40/hour, C: $50/hour

Hiring a Stringer

The Client simply enters the number of hours into the StringerVision app and clicks Hire. PayPal facilitates the immediate transfer of fund from Clients to Stringers. They also accrue the small commission paid to StringerVision for this service. The Stringer immediately receives one-third of the payment in the Stringer's PayPal account. The next third is paid automatically when the Stringer clicks on Work Complete in the app. The final third is paid when the Client receives the video and clicks one of the satisfaction levels. Satisfaction reports are used to establish the Stringer's online reputation. Prompt payments also establish the Client's reputation
